My Journey

Hello my name is Karen, and I am passionate about Holistic health and healing. 

I was widowed at the age of 37, leaving me to question life and health in the wake of my husband’s passing. I began a journey of spirituality, self-discovery and strength, leading me to Reiki and Crystal Healing.

I vividly remember my first Reiki healing in the midst of my grief, I felt like I was carrying the heaviest load on my shoulders and I was with 3 children left to raise on my own, who were also on their own grief journey. I remember coming out from the session feeling so much lighter, like the heavy load had been lifted and looking around and seeing my grey world had suddenly had be re infused with colour. Reiki and Crystal Healing became powerful allies during my healing journey. As I continued on, I discovered that the journey is not linear but in fact a spiral.

In my quest for health and wellness, I would go on to study a Bachelor of Nursing degree which I thought was my calling but was in fact another continuous spiral on my journey. While my passion for wanting to help others achieve optimal health and wellness was being filled, the system didn’t allow for holistic health and wellness to be achieved. A system that is fundamentally broken, left me frustrated and feeling like I had failed the very people I wanted to help. After years of hard work I made the decision to walk away and to continue my quest for the spiritual journey of healing and holistic health. 

I went on as many alternative healing modality courses as I could afford, all the while Reiki and Crystal Healing remained constant and together we peeled off the trauma layer by layer. Now finally, after many years of work, I am ready to answer the call. I offer this holistic approach of self-empowerment to reconnect with your inner self, fostering resilience. And leading you on your own healing journey.
